If you watch David Venable’s shows on QVC, you will soon realize he is the best salesman ever. He has so many appearances on QVC there’s hardly a night one isn’t able to watch him in action. And he is impressive.
He has an incredible ability to connect with the audience for whatever product he’s pitching at the time. He flawlessly offers up suggestions on why you need the product, regardless of what it is. He is a master at spontaneous comments; he thinks of reasons for you to buy the product that you didn’t know you had.
He is so much fun to watch. He’s animated, honest, and appealing; he dives into product descriptions with his unique style and boy, are they imaginative. On the fly, he’ll supply reasonable, compelling reasons why you need the item. He is at his best when he says: “we only have a few more of these before they go away for good.” And, when he goes into his famous “Happy Dance,” he guarantees higher sales of the product.
In my career, I’ve sold millions of dollars worth of products and services, yet I can’t hold a candle to David. He is simply the best at what he does.
I only wish I was 10% as talented as he is.
