This morning, while I was watching the birds visit my feeder, I saw a totally new one. I didn’t know what the name of the bird was, so I asked a friend; meet my new visitor, an American Goldfinch. It’s one of Tennessee’s top 10 prettiest birds, and now I know why.
It’s a beautiful bird, with vibrant yellow feathers; even at a distance, this bird really stands out from the others. It’s kinda’ late in the season for new bird visitors, but I sure do hope this one stays around for a while.
